While the Houston High Honors Academy serves Germantown residents and current students in the Germantown Municipal School District, we welcome students from outside of the district who meet our eligibility criteria to apply.

Students who accept an invitation to the Honors Academy program and live outside of Germantown must also apply for Open Enrollment in the Germantown Municipal School District to secure a seat in the program.

 

Honors Academy members are the highest priority for transfers, after GMSD employee children, and students are guaranteed a spot through graduation as long as they remain in good standing with the program.

Transportation is not provided for students living outside of Germantown.
